Cold Shrinkable Termination Kit
Cold Shrinkable Termination Kit are made of elastomer materials (commonly used silicone rubber and ethylene propylene rubber) in the factory injection vulcanization molding, and then through expanding, lined with plastic spiral support to form a variety of cable accessories parts. During field installation, these preexpansion pieces are put on the treated cable ends or joints, and the plastic spiral strips (supports) of internal support are drawn out and pressed on the cable insulation to form cable accessories.  

Because Cold Shrinkable Termination Kit is at room temperature by elastic shrinkage force, rather than like heat shrinkage cable accessories to heat shrinkage with fire, so commonly known as cold shrinkage cable accessories.  In the early stage, the cold shrink cable end only uses silicon rubber cold shrink parts for additional insulation, and the stress cone type or stress band wrap type is still used for electric field treatment.
