In order to avoid accidents during the installation of cable termination, the precautions in the instructions should be kept in mind before installation.

The cable termination must be carried out continuously from the beginning of stripping and cutting to the completion of production, in one time to prevent moisture. Do not damage the core insulation when stripping the cable. When sealing the cable, pay attention to cleaning to prevent dirt and moisture from invading the insulation layer.

The two ends of the same cable core shall have the same phase color and correspond to the phase sequence of the connecting bus-bar. Installation of cold shrinkable termination kit must be carried out in clear weather and dry air, and the construction site should be clean and free of dust or paper scraps.

Before cable crimping, make sure that the clamp body, hydraulic pipe and connecting port of the hydraulic pliers are intact before using, so as to avoid injury caused by equipment failure. When crimping the cable, do not put your fingers deep into the pressing mold. When using a knife or other tools, do not point the sharp end at the human body.

Take effective protection measures for operating equipment in and near the operating tunnel. Strengthen the inspection before use and in the process of use, protection neutral line and working neutral line shall not be mixed, switch box leakage protector should be sensitive and reliable, leakage protection device parameters should match.

In the process of cable termination installation should pay special attention to keep clean, at the same time should try to shorten the installation time, cable wave thickness, in the air exposure time, the longer the intrusion of impurities, water vapor, gas, dust, etc., the greater the possibility, thus affecting the quality of cable termination. Therefore, the preparation work should be fully done before the construction to ensure that the installation is uninterrupted and in one go.
