Heat Shrinkable End Caps, also known as heat shrinkable cable cap, cable end cap, cable cap, head cap, etc., used for wire and cable end waterproof, insulation and protection treatment. The port is coated with high-performance hot melt adhesive. The cable cap can shrink when heated, and the glue melts at the same time. It is tightly glued to the surface of the cable, providing sealing, waterproof, insulation and protection effects for power and control cable terminals. The spiral melt in the inner layer of the heat shrinkable cable cap maintains its flexibility after shrinkage. Suitable for outdoor cables, underground cables or XLPE cables, communication, power, lighting line terminals and other moisture-proof sealing protection.

The Heat Shrinkable End Caps provides effective protection against oxidation, ozone and ultraviolet radiation. The inner layer of hot melt adhesive provides sealing protection. It is simple and convenient to install on the cable terminal and protect the power and communication cables below 1kV

Heat Shrinkable End Caps is made of polyolefin polymer material after crosslinking to produce memory effect to produce heat shrinkable. Heat Shrinkable End Caps are widely used in photovoltaic cables and other industries. The installation can be completed by covering the exposed parts of both ends of the cable with Heat Shrinkable End Caps.

There are two common gluing methods for Heat Shrinkable End Caps: manual gluing and spiral spraying:

Manual gluing. It is manually dipped in hot melt adhesive with a tool and quickly scraped to the inner wall of the Heat Shrinkable End Caps. This technology is low, the glue distribution is affected by artificial factors, the inner wall glue is not uniform, the quality control is unstable, the sealing is poor, not suitable for places with high voltage requirements.

Spiral spraying. The technology cash, automatic mechanical spraying equipment under program control will evenly spread hot melt glue on the inner wall of the Heat Shrinkable End Caps, its sealing property is better waterproof, not easy to fall off, but the cost is higher, the amount of hot melt glue is 3 times that of manual gluing.
