Heat Shrinkable Bus-bar Box are made from insulating thermoplastic materials, often polyolefin elastomers like polyethylene or ethylene propylene rubber. These can withstand the temperatures of busbars while providing good electrical insulation. They shrink and conform tightly to the busbar when heated, forming a tight cover. Adhesive-lined or wrap-around types provide the best coverage and seal.
